The April 10, 1960 USAC Trenton 100 was a 100-lap Championship Car race held on the one-mile paved oval at Trenton International Speedway in Trenton, New Jersey. It served as the opening event of the 12-race 1960 USAC season. Johnny Thomson started on pole, but Rodger Ward, driving the #1 Leader Card Racing Watson-Offy, led all 100 laps to score a dominant victory with an average speed of 95.486 mph.
Twenty-two cars started the race after five drivers failed to qualify. Tony Bettenhausen finished second, followed by Jim McWithey in third, A.J. Foyt in fourth, and Gene Force in fifth.
This strong opening win for Rodger Ward set the tone for what would become a highly competitive 1960 season, which ultimately saw A.J. Foyt claim his first USAC National Championship.
